• Over 25 years’ experience in Somalia and Kenya in the Security and Training

• 19 years’ experience as Advisor in Military and Political Affairs in the Federal Republic of Germany diplomatic corps in Pakistan, Germany, Somalia, Kenya and Zambia

• 19 years’ experience with UNSECOORD, UNISOM II, UNDSS, WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, UN WOMEN

 

Skills:

 

• Acute understanding of security issues, risk analysis and mitigation, context analysis

• Experienced in crisis and critical incident management

• Preparing, maintaining and updating the country-specific security plan and security listings includingformulating an annual training policy and action plan

• Conduct training and security briefings to ensure that all staff are cognizant with security measures, procedures and precautionary advice in the respective Area of Responsibility (AoR)
