Education: 

• Bashir is currently pursue Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Organizational Leadership and Management at Mount Kenya University

• Masters Degree in Public Administration and Management from Mount Kenya University

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from International University of Africa (Sudan)

Work Experience: 

• Over 12 years work experience in complex humanitarian relief, recovery & development, research & development, Monitoring & Evaluation of development projects, project planning, food security, livelihoods, WASH, coordination, community driven development projects, leading assessment and capacity building in the Horn of Africa.

 

Skills:

• He is well equipped with the application of participatory methodologies based on DAC/OECD indicators with a keen interest in mainstreaming community participation and other cross-cutting issues such as gender, environment, HIV/AIDs and Disaster Risk Reduction.

• Extensive knowledge on trainings, module development, facilitating trainings, qualitative and quantitative research and has worked with various International Humanitarian organizations in the Horn of Africa region.

• Fluent in Arabic, English, Swahili and Somali.
